This week we have been learning about the Rongoa Maori.Maori medicine is made from native trees found only in the native forest of New Zealand.
we learned that before you enter the native forest you need to say the Karakia. 
The most interesting thing that some of these plants we found in our school and I didn't know about them!!




 Kawakawa can be used for toothaches.

 

This tree grows about 20 metres tall. It has bright red berries.


Koromiko is in bushes and it is a Small sweet to a attract to butterflies and Bees.







Harakeke can be used 
for it's flaxs.

The volcano who is  erupting

has a magna chamber inside it . Have magna inside it. And there is 52. Volcanoes in New Zealand.volcanoes only erupt once in New Zealand. But and all of those volcanoes  a dead. And they is a super volcanos they are deadly and volcanoes and they  will be tons of smoke and the. Smoke will be reversed problem.    and when the volcano has finished erupting the rocks become black and when they break down day become Soil. When the volcanoes has finished erupting the  plants have

 Today we are doing 3 D shapes and the shape I'm doing is a cube. A cube has 6 faces it might look the same to the square but no because a square is a 2 D shape but a  cube is a 3 D shape.  We had to think what would happen if it was unfolded then  we had to make the cube and  we were doing this as a team.

This week I read a story about JUNK and what I like about it was that mum tricked Joshua and Poppa.

Mum tricked Joshua  and Poppa,By pretending she didn't Know about  their planning to use the old pram to make a  trolley. She went to the supermarket and brought a poster with her.

Mum Showed poster  to Poppa it  said “Wanted to buy old Pram must been be less than 10 years old need repairs mum.

Said she is going to sell her old pram to buy a new one, so mum heard them talking about them planning
